How to convert video and audio files with Xilisoft Video Converter? |
Step 1: Load Video files into list.
Download Xilisoft Video Converter first and install it to computer. After finish installation, run xilisoft video converter, the main interface will pop up. Click the button "Add" to load video files into list. (Xilisoft Video Converter supports batch conversion. so you can load more than one files at each time.)
Xilisoft Video Converter is compatible with most of video and audio formats:
Video Formats:
- DVD, VCD, SVCD, MPEG ( MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 ), RM, AVI, WMV, 3GP, ASF, Divx and Xvid.
Audio Formats:
- OGG, Sun.au, WMA, MP3, WAV, Ra (Real Audio), M4a, AC3, AAC, MOV
Step 2: Select output Format
After loading source files, you need to select output formats for each file.
first, left click a file in the list, then select a output file format in Profile column. For example, here we choose FLV - Flash Video Format (*.flv) as the output format.
Step 3: Select output folder.
Xilisoft Video Converter allows you to choose a specific folder to save the output files. Simply click the button "Browse..." in destination column and specify the output destination.
The default folder is C:\Temp.
Step 4: Advanced Setting
For veterans, xilisoft Video Converter provides you many editing options to make the output file more personalized. For example, you can set beginning point and end point to convert part of video files instead of the entire video file.
In addition, you can also edit video size, video bitrate, audio bit rate and audio channels etc.,
Tips: The advanced setting options is only for veterans. If you are not familiar with video converting, just follow the default setting, Xilisoft Video Converter will automatically choose the best setting.
Step 5: Start Encoding
After specify the advanced settings, you can start encoding by click the button "Encode"
If necessary, xilisoft video converter also allows users to preview the video movie. Xilisoft Video Converrter supports multithreading, you can convert several files at the same time.
After finish converting, simply open the output folder, you will get exactly what you need.
